#MCRWLK

Four weeks ago, I took the train to Manchester to take part in #MCRWLK. This was a meet up of a number of photographers, some professional, and some not so. I was definately at the amatuer end of the spectrum from the attendees. Some using film, some digital, and some both. I took this opportunity to use my Yashica MAT 124G again. I had a couple of out of date films to use, A Fuji Pro 400, and a Kodak E100. It was a great walk, and one thing I found valuable, was being able to see what other people see. You can put a bunch of photographers in any location, but the results will always be different. This day was no different. A great bunch of people, just a shame I couldn’t stay for the beer afterwards.

The walk started with a meet and a chat at Foundation Coffee, a cracking coffeeshop being well worth a visit if you are ever in Manchester, and quite handily located next to a camera and photographic equipment shop, The Real Camera Co.

Some of my results from the day are below, with links to Flickr, Twitter and Instagram showing results from other participants. Here’s to #MCRWLK2

I have no idea who I achieved the double exposure look, but I wish I did, as I like the effect, even if not the photograph
